Chomonix Golf Course

Nick Huffman, Head Teaching Professional

Nick was hired at Chomonix as a teenager in 2008 to wash carts and pick balls at the driving range.  After high school, he played golf in college at the University of Minnesota Crookston.  Nick then transferred to the University of Wisconsin Stout where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Golf Enterprise Management in 2014.  He has been an Assistant Teaching Professional for the past 3 years before becoming Head Teaching Professional in 2017.  In his few years of teaching he took one of his first students, who had never golfed before, and turned her into the 2016 Chomonix Women’s Club Champion.  Along with teaching golf at Chomonix, Nick is also the Head Boys Golf Coach for Centennial High School.

Nick has proven to be an excellent student of the golf swing, and as such, has developed some different methods of teaching for each unique swing.  Nick offers many different group lesson plans such as juniors, beginners and ladies.  Call to book a group lesson, create your own group (family, co-workers, etc…) or book a ½ hour individual lesson and let Nick improve your game.
